MIRRORS EDGE REVIEW

Overview:

* This is a story of a city where information is heavily monitored, crime is just a memory and most people sacrifice freedom for a comfortable life, Others choose to live differently...

* Communication is made through runners(you), but now that murder has come to the prefect city, it is you that is now being hunted.

Gameplay:

This is a first person free running game. There has not been anything like it before, because its a fps without the shooting! i.e using heavy guns will slow you down, and you can only use the ammo in the gun you picked up. There is no collecting ammo, then you have to discard the gun.

You don't collect health as you realistically only get the one life. So if you take too many shots - you die. Fall from a great height - you die etc.

Your up against police and security guards who you can either run passed, jump over or disarm with some cool techniques.

Result:

A completely original game that has minor faults, but those are overshadowed by the sheer exhilaration of the gameplay! Definitely the best buy of the week.

GIVE A DRIVING MESSAGE!

Everyone that drives has probably had some road rage at one point or another!

Just imagine if you had one of these devices though, that would soon tell those bad drivers, and maybe the good ones too!

It's called Drive-e-mocion, and attaches to your rear window screen.

You can put any message on it you like. How freaked out would you be if you were the driver looking at the back of the car, and you saw a message pop up for you!?

RESTAURANT MEMORY GAME

If you like restaurant games then you will love this free online one

It's more of a memory game. The waiter comes in with the order, then you have so many seconds to get the order together.

You have to decide whether you need to get the food from the fridge, the hob or the oven.

It sounds pretty basic but you will be surprised how fast your memory can fade under pressure!

Plus when you get the order wrong the waiter gives you some verbal abuse and your customer satisfaction score gets lower!

Man, if i worked in a restaurant like this in real life i wouldn't need any diet pills for the rushing around i would be doing!

COLLAGE MAKER SOFTWARE

Making a collage on the computer can be really useful.

You can use it to put lots of different photos together of your family, or use it for your blog posts.

For instance i like to use it for putting all my blog awards together on one post page.

BUTTSTATION GADGET!

Isn't this great!? It's called the ButtStation! What a cool desk gadget.
It would bring a bit of humour to the boring office routine anyway.

If i had it i think i would be playing with it constantly all day! The paper clip part is my favourite feature!

For extra fun i think i would have to put of photo of someones face on his face, then i could laugh at them. How cruel am i!?

FIRST MOBILE PHONE INVENTED

This is what the world's very first mobile looked like. Huge isn't it!

It looks just like a portable landline phone that you can walk around the house with.

Motorola were the makers of this when it was released in 1983, and called it the DynaTAC.

Back then it was sold for $3,995! Funnily enough i bet it's worth more these days being a vintage product.

Can you imagine taking this out with you!? It wouldn't even fit in your pocket! Plus there is no screen! Technology really has moved on in 25 years hasn't it!

On the funny side this brick would probably be the best fat burner for your arms!

GEARS OF WAR 2 REVIEW

Overview:

* Entire cities are sinking and are swallowed by a new threat. Soon you will have nothing left to defend. Only one option remains is to do an all-out attack
* Use enemies as Shields, fight chainsaw duels and discover new monsters, weapons and vehicles
* New online co-op modes, that are even better than the last Gears Of War

Gameplay:

This is the 2nd in the Gears of War Trilogy 3rd person shooter game.

The controls and concept are exactly the same as the first one. This one story picks off straight after from where the last one finished.

You have got new weapons, new characters to unlock and a new online mode including the popular Horde.

Result:

A new graphics engine makes it look better than the first one. Plus the story is like a Hollywood film.

A serious contender for game of the year, depending on your opinion of Fall Out 3.

FUTURISTIC WORKSTATION

Now this is a funky piece of computer furniture i must say!

Imagine having that in your living room! Would probably be ok in a bedroom though.

But i love it. It's really futuristic and modern looking.

It looks like its suppose to be one of those real driving racing car games you play at the arcades.

Its called the BATTLE-RIG Pro if you ever fancied having one yourself.
